Korn Ferry has been exclusively retained to lead the search for a Director of Finance Compliance for a premier North American construction and development organization. The role focuses on designing and leading a finance compliance framework across IRA, prevailing wage, and government-funded programs, collaborating closely with Finance, Legal, Operations, Tax, HR, and IT.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA preferred.
• 10-15+ years of progressive experience in finance, regulatory compliance, audit, or financial controls leadership.
• Direct experience with Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) compliance strongly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of prevailing wage regulations, government contracting, and regulatory frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise finance compliance strategy, controls, and governance.
• Partner with Finance, Legal, Operations, Tax, HR, and IT to align compliance with business strategy.
• Oversee IRA compliance, government-funded projects, and incentive programs.
• Drive automation, reporting enhancements, and audit readiness.
• Manage external audits and regulatory reviews with regulators and auditors.
• Build a high-performing compliance organization and foster accountability.
• Provide strategic guidance on emerging regulatory developments.
