Korn Ferry is seeking an Interim Director / Senior Director for Technical Accounting & External Reporting in St. Louis Park, MN. This hybrid role supports a large public company with leadership across technical accounting, external reporting, and SEC compliance through March 31, 2027.

The role emphasizes collaboration with senior finance leadership, auditors, and cross-functional teams to drive process improvements and strategic initiatives in a complex environment.

Qualifications

• CPA strongly preferred.
• Public company accounting and reporting experience.
• Strong U.S. GAAP and technical accounting expertise.
• SEC reporting experience.
• Combination of Big 4 and industry experience preferred.
• Proven ability to influence and communicate across senior leadership teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical accounting and external reporting activities.
• Provide guidance on complex accounting matters.
• Support SEC reporting and filing requirements.
• Partner with internal and external auditors.
• Support M&A, integration, and strategic initiatives.
• Collaborate with finance, legal, treasury, and executive leadership.
• Drive process improvement and strengthen reporting controls.
• Lead special projects and other finance initiatives as needed.
