Job summary

AstraZeneca seeks a Director, Incentives and Awards to lead the strategy, governance, and transformation of field incentive compensation and awards across the BBU portfolio in Wilmington, DE. Reporting to the Senior Director, Field Operations, this leader will guide a four-person team and collaborate with Sales, Commercial Excellence, Finance, HR, Legal, and Compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
• 5+ years in pharma/biotech or related commercial environment with incentive program experience.
• Experience leading incentive compensation or commercial operations workstreams and analytics.
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders and work cross-functionally with multiple teams.
• Strong communication, organization, and decision-making in a regulated environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategy and governance of field incentive compensation programs across the portfolio.
• Translate strategy into incentive plans aligned with launches and lifecycle priorities.
• Deliver analytics, scenario modeling, payout analysis, and governance reporting.
• Lead and develop a team of four direct reports and oversee BAU and transformation work.
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Finance, HR, Legal, Compliance, and vendors to align plans.
