Job summary

AstraZeneca is seeking an Associate Director, Incentives and Awards to lead strategy, governance, and continuous improvement of field incentive compensation and commercial awards across the BBU portfolio. You will work with senior stakeholders to translate priorities into motivating programs while ensuring compliance and transparency.

This onsite Wilmington-based role offers exposure to governance forums, analytics, awards, vendor management, and transformation work, with potential for growth

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in a relevant field.
• 3+ years in pharma/biotech/healthcare or related commercial environment.
• Experience supporting incentive compensation, sales ops, analytics, finance, or field ops workstreams.
• Ability to analyze performance data and present clear recommendations.
• Experience partnering with multiple stakeholder groups including Sales, Finance, HR, Legal, Analytics.

Responsibilities

• Support execution and improvement of field incentive compensation programs and awards.
• Translate commercial strategy into incentive and recognition programs for compliant field focus.
• Develop analytics and recommendations from sales performance and payout trends.
• Collaborate with Sales, Commercial Excellence, Finance, HR, Legal, Compliance, Analytics, and vendors.
• Prepare governance materials for Incentive Compensation Governance Committee and ensure audit-ready records.
• Contribute to Circle of Excellence and related awards programs with stakeholder alignment.
• Modernize the function by simplifying processes and building scalable ways of working.
