Job summary

Aecon is seeking a Director, Subcontract Management in Charlotte, NC for a hybrid role. You will lead the federal subcontracts function for DoD/DOE projects, ensuring compliant formation and administration of subcontracts and flow-downs across federal programs.

We seek a seasoned leader with 10+ years in subcontracting, strong CAS/FAR knowledge, and experience with DoD/DOE customers. Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree and PMP preferred. EEOC compliance and development programs offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years in subcontractor management with 5+ years leading a function.
• Deep knowledge of CAS, FAR, DFARS, DEAR and related regs.
• Experience with DoD/DOE or federal customers preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree required; PMP or related certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build and lead the federal subcontracts organization for DoD/DOE projects.
• Ensure compliance with CAS, FAR, DFARS, DEAR and flow-downs.
• Issue subcontracts and POs via SAP with proper down-flow.
• Review subcontractor agreements and mitigate risks.
• Monitor performance and conduct site visits for safety/quality.
• Oversee invoicing and timely project delivery.
• Develop policies, templates, reporting; mentor the team.
