Qualifications

• 10+ years in facility services or building operations, with ≥5 years in leadership.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Admin, Facility Services, Construction Management, or related field preferred; CFM/BOM cert is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of building systems, regulatory compliance, fire and life safety, and facility mgmt best practices.
• Experience managing budgets, projects, vendors, and high-performing teams in a customer-focused environment.
• Proficient leadership, communication, problem-solving, and computer skills (MS Office, CMMS).

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor Facility Services team including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management.
• Direct maintenance, environmental services, grounds operations, contracted services, and capex projects.
• Manage budgets, purchasing, inventory, and financial performance to drive operational excellence.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, safety standards, inspections, audits, and emergency planning.
• Collaborate with residents and leadership to enhance facilities and resident experience.

We are seeking an experienced Facility Services Director to lead facility operations, maintenance, environmental services, and grounds management while ensuring an exceptional living experience for residents.

What You'll Be Doing

• Lead, develop, and mentor Facility Services team members while overseeing hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management.
• Direct maintenance, environmental services, grounds operations, contracted services, and capital improvement projects across the community.
• Manage departmental budgets, purchasing, inventory control, and financial performance while driving operational excellence.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, safety standards, inspections, audits, and emergency preparedness programs.
• Partner with residents, community leadership, and stakeholders to enhance facilities, improve services, and support a positive resident experience.

Pay

$162,500 - $175,000 / annually DOE

About You

• 10+ years of facility services, building operations, or related experience, including at least 5 years in a leadership role.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Facility Services, Construction Management, or a related field preferred; CFM or BOM certification is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of building systems, regulatory compliance, fire and life safety, and facility management best practices.
• Proven experience managing budgets, projects, vendors, and high-performing teams in a customer-focused environment.
• Excellent leadership, communication, problem-solving, and computer skills, including Microsoft Office and CMMS software.
