Job summary

Cadence Education seeks a Director of Facilities Management to lead maintenance, capital projects, and regulatory compliance across a multi-state portfolio. You will oversee budgets, vendor contracts, and staff, driving cost efficiency and high standards of safety and brand integrity.

In this role, you’ll coordinate renovations, manage vendor onboarding for new locations, and partner with Finance, Operations, and Real Estate to align facility strategy with growth goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Construction Management, Business Administration, or related field.
• 8+ years of facilities maintenance experience with leadership.
• Experience in budget oversight, capital projects, and vendor management.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and oversight for maintenance, repair, and improvement of company facilities across multiple states.
• Develop and manage annual repair, maintenance, and capital expenditure budgets with KPI reporting.
• Negotiate and manage vendor contracts, ensuring service levels and cost effectiveness.
• Plan renovations, system replacements, and large-scale repairs within time and budget.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and safety across all facilities and environments.
• Lead, develop, and mentor facilities staff and manage cross-functional collaboration.
