Job summary

SHC in San Francisco seeks a Director of Facilities IT Program to lead the coordination of IT infrastructure readiness for new and existing hospital facilities. You will align IT infrastructure, telecommunications, end-user computing, and applications with project timelines and budgets across multiple departments.

You will partner with ITS teams to drive governance, optimize resource allocation, and ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards in a complex healthcare setting.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree in a work-related field.
• Experience: Five (5) years of progressively responsible work experience in the subject area.

Responsibilities

• Serves as primary liaison between facilities teams and ITS teams.
• Manages intake, planning, and governance for facilities-related ITS requests.
• Prepares and manages budgets for facilities-related ITS projects and fiscal year budgeting.
• Ensures planning and budgeting align with new technologies from Applications towers and CTO organization.
• Manages projects and resources for facilities-related ITS projects.
• Provides feedback to Space Planning and Transition Services on upcoming facilities projects.
• Responds to IT costing/pricing requests for new facilities during business case development.
• Coordinates with cross-functional ITS resources to meet timelines and service delivery.
• Ensures projects align with NSH governance processes; develops IT processes for facilities projects.
• Manages challenges and escalates issues to ensure proper communication.
