Job summary

UCSF Health is seeking an IT Project Manager for the Helen Diller Hospital project in San Francisco. You will lead planning, coordination, and execution of IT workstreams spanning clinical applications, infrastructure, and end-user systems, ensuring alignment with operational readiness and strategic goals.

The role requires managing scope, schedule, budget, resources, risks, and dependencies across diverse stakeholders, and facilitating decisions among IT, construction, and clinical leadership

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in IT, engineering, business, healthcare admin, or related field.
• 5+ years of relevant IT project management experience.
• Fundamental knowledge of project management principles and processes.
• Ability to assess needs and design IT services to meet hospital/medical center requirements.
• Experience planning and coordinating multi-disciplinary IT initiatives.
• Strong writing and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, coordination, and execution of IT workstreams for the Helen Diller Hospital project.
• Manage scope, schedule, budget, resources, tasks, risks, deliverables, and dependencies across stakeholders.
• Facilitate decision-making between IT, construction, and clinical leadership; ensure regulatory, security, and patient safety requirements.
• Monitor assigned project workstreams from initiation to completion; organize and lead project activities.
