Job summary

S&P Global Ratings is seeking a Director on the Esoteric ABS team to oversee credit analysis across non-traditional asset-backed structures. You will guide a team of analysts, shape rating committee discussions, and advance the use of AI and advanced analytics while maintaining strong human judgment.

You will engage issuers, investors, and market participants, contributing to market-leading opinions and governance.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of structured finance, securitization, or credit analysis experience.
• Experience mentoring teams and fostering accountability and improvement.
• Ability to drive analytical outputs across a multi-asset portfolio.
• Experience using generative AI and advanced analytics to improve research.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop analysts, building credit expertise and AI-enabled workflows.
• Oversee end-to-end credit and capital markets analyses for esoteric asset classes.
• Engage issuers, investors, bankers, and counsel; influence market discussions and ratings criteria.
• Maintain portfolio risk oversight and governance for AI outputs and controls.
