Fitch Ratings, Chicago-based, is seeking an Associate Director in the ABS team to analyze credit, legal and structural elements of ABS transactions and to lead or support rating actions and research initiatives. You will work on the U.S.

ABS market with emphasis on auto loans, leases, and equipment leasing, collaborating across teams and contributing to market commentary. The role requires a BA/BS and 4+ years in structured finance or ABS, with excellent writing and quantitative skills.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree required with a minimum of 4 years experience in structured finance or ABS preferred.
• Strong communication and writing skills are essential for public credit opinions.
• Excellent quantitative and technical capabilities with ability to manage multiple timelines.

Responsibilities

• Analyze critical credit, legal and structural elements of ABS transactions.
• Develop ratings criteria; write reports and develop recommendations.
• Implement cashflow models and tools used in the rating process.
