Job summary

JCW Group is looking for an SVP to build and lead a Commercial, Esoteric & New Assets ABS practice from the ground up in New York. This is not a generic ABS role; you will shape methodology and own the space.

You will lead end-to-end credit rating processes for unconventional collateral, mentor analysts, and manage issuer, arranger, and investor relationships, drawing on deep experience in data center, aviation, telecom infra, or equipment leasing assets.

Qualifications

• Direct, demonstrable experience in commercial or esoteric ABS.
• Experience with data center, aviation, telecom infra, equipment leasing, or small business lending.
• Proficiency in cash-flow modeling and deal documentation.
• Ability to defend a rating view in a non-standard asset class.
• Experience leading a team or mentoring junior analysts.

Responsibilities

• Lead the credit rating process end-to-end on new ABS transactions in commercial and esoteric asset classes.
• Perform originator and servicer diligence, structuring and cash-flow modeling, legal review.
• Present at rating committee and publish research and rating rationales.
• Own relationships with issuers, arrangers and investors.
• Mentor the junior analysts who'll build out the practice.
