Job summary

BlueSky Resource Solutions seeks a Director of Business Applications to serve as the IT partner for a North American business unit. You will own ERP and related systems, drive modernization, and manage demand, projects, and vendor relationships.

The role focuses on aligning ERP investments with global standards, modernizing roadmaps, and leveraging AI, automation, and analytics to improve business outcomes.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of IT/business applications or technology leadership experience.
• 5+ years leading application teams, vendors, or business-facing tech functions.
• Proven ERP migration, consolidation, or modernization experience.
• Experience with ERP roadmaps, data migration, integrations, and change management.
• Experience supporting ERP portfolios in manufacturing, finance, supply chain, or plant environments.

Responsibilities

• Partner with business leaders to align priorities with ERP strategy.
• Own the business application portfolio, including support, upgrades, and governance.
• Develop multi-year ERP modernization roadmaps and rationalization efforts.
• Drive process harmonization and standardization across systems.
• Oversee vendor relationships, SLAs, costs, and value realization.
• Ensure security/compliance and IT governance for applications.
• Lead or contribute to migrations, testing, cutover, and release activities.
• Identify risks and communicate technology, vendor, and operational risks.
