Job summary

Thomas Jefferson University seeks a senior leader to oversee enterprise EHR design, development and lifecycle management across the health system. You will align technology strategy with clinical goals, optimize workflows, and drive adoption of interoperable solutions while ensuring regulatory compliance.

Role requires strong governance, program management, and collaboration with executives, clinicians and IT teams to deliver scalable, high-impact applications and positive patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED
• 7 years Implementation and support experience
• Progressive experience in Information Services or healthcare
• Large-scale implementation/upgrades
• Project resource and budget management
• Healthcare IT operations experience
• Team leadership and mentoring
• Strong communication skills

Responsibilities

• Provides strategic leadership for EHR and clinical applications across the health system
• Partners with clinical/operational leaders to define requirements and priorities
• Oversees configuration, optimization, and interoperability across platforms
• Manages vendor relationships, budgets, and performance metrics
• Leads planning, testing, deployment, and continuous improvement of applications
• Champions adoption of technology to improve patient outcomes and provider experience
