Job summary

Fieldguide is seeking a Director of Solutions Engineering to lead pre-sales technical functions. You will manage demo motions, POC execution, and provide technical leadership to the Solutions Engineering team.

The ideal candidate has over 8 years in Sales Engineering and strong experience in AI architecture. You will partner with Sales, Product, and Engineering teams while ensuring a consistent bar across Solutions Engineers.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in Sales Engineering with 3 years in leadership.
• Experience with CPA firms or professional services required.
• Strong technical depth in AI architecture and cloud security.
• Proven track record in building SE teams and playbooks.

Responsibilities

• Own pre-sales technical strategy from discovery to close.
• Define standards for demos and POCs at Fieldguide.
• Lead technical discussions with firm leaders.
• Build Solutions Engineering playbook and certification program.
• Hire, develop, and coach the Solutions Engineering team.
