Job summary
Elastic is seeking a Director of Solution Architecture (Technical Sales) to lead the Enterprise Solution Architecture team, drive revenue and customer value, and develop a world-class leadership group. This senior role partners across sales, customer success, product, and partners to shape strategy and differentiate Elastic's offerings.
While distributed, ideal candidates reside near San Francisco, Austin, New York City or Chicago.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of Sales Engineering Leadership experience, including second-line leadership.
- 7+ years of SE IC experience or equivalent industry experience.
- Experience selling to Fortune 100 type strategic accounts.
- Experience with cloud-based and open source solutions.
Responsibilities
- Lead the Enterprise Solution Architecture organization to drive engagement and performance.
- Deliver presales solutions to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Develop strategic and technical territory/account plans with sales teams.
- Attract, develop, and retain top talent across the organization.
- Co-own customer success and drive value realization for customers.
- Evangelize Elastic solutions in industry forums and events.
- Collaborate with product, engineering, support, and sales teams for alignment.
- Identify growth opportunities and drive innovation and optimization.
