Qualifications

• 15+ years of progressive experience in enterprise software vendor management, software asset management, IT sourcing, FinOps or a closely related discipline within a large, complex organization.
• Demonstrated track record managing and developing global, cross‑functional teams, with the ability to align diverse talent across geographies, time zones, and organizational boundaries toward shared commercial and operational objectives.
• Deep expertise in enterprise software licensing models across major vendors such as Microsoft, Oracle, SAP, Salesforce, and ServiceNow.
• Proven success leading high‑stakes vendor negotiations with material cost savings.
• Substantive FinOps knowledge including SaaS spend management and cost visibility frameworks.
• Strong executive stakeholder engagement skills with experience presenting to C‑suite and senior leadership.
• Demonstrated financial acumen with large multi‑currency software budgets and multi‑year forecast modelling.
• Experience establishing a Software Asset Management program in a Fortune 500 or equivalent environment.
• Ability to operate in ambiguity and drive outcomes through influence and structured problem solving.
• Strong governance discipline with scalable processes and controls.

Responsibilities

• Own the end‑to‑end enterprise software vendor management strategy across a global portfolio of Tier 1 and Tier 2 software vendors.
• Lead the global SaaS FinOps practice, establishing policies, tooling, and cadences for spend visibility and optimization.
• Oversee internal billing and cost allocation frameworks for software assets to ensure charge‑back and show‑back accuracy.
• Manage public cloud marketplace transactions (AWS/Azure/Google) and optimize on‑premise and cloud spending.
• Lead deal analysis and business case management for strategic software investments and renewals.
• Own the enterprise software budget and forecast process across a multi‑hundred‑million dollar portfolio.
• Build and develop a global vendor management, SAM, and FinOps team with clear accountability.
• Serve as senior relationship owner for strategic software vendors with executive‑level engagement.
• Define, track, and report KPIs for vendor management and SAM functions to leadership.
• Drive continuous improvement by modernizing the SAM and FinOps technology stack.
