Job summary

Loureiro Engineering Associates, Inc. is seeking a Director of Enterprise Risk to lead the development and strengthening of risk systems, standards, controls, and management disciplines across the company.

The role focuses on subcontractor and third-party risk, contract review, purchase order controls, insurance compliance, and procurement governance, while expanding into broader enterprise risk areas over time.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in commercial management, contracts, risk management, procurement, insurance, subcontractor management, or related disciplines.
• Experience within engineering, construction, environmental services, industrial services, or another project-based business preferred.
• Demonstrated experience managing contractual, commercial, subcontractor, procurement, or insurance-related risk.

Responsibilities

• Develop and continually improve enterprise-wide standards, controls, approval thresholds, delegated authorities, and exception processes for identifying, evaluating, managing, and monitoring material business risks.
• Partner with executive and operating leaders to ensure material risks are understood, evaluated at the appropriate level, and escalated when outside established standards or authority.
• Monitor risk and compliance trends, recurring exceptions, and emerging exposures and provide leadership with appropriate visibility into the Company's risk profile.
• Establish and maintain enterprise standards for subcontractor and third-party qualification, approval, monitoring, and compliance, including ownership and oversight of the subcontractor management system.
• Coordinate with operating leaders, administrative leaders, insurance advisors, outside legal counsel, and other resources as appropriate to support informed commercial decisions.
