Loureiro Engineering Associates, Inc. seeks a Director of Enterprise Risk to join our Plainville, CT team.

This role leads the development and strengthening of systems, standards, controls, and management disciplines to identify, evaluate, and monitor material enterprise risks across programs and projects. You will start focused on subcontractor and third-party risk, contract review, and procurement governance, with growth to cover claims, insurance, bonding, and major project risk as the

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, construction management, engineering, finance, risk management, law, or a related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in commercial management, contracts, risk management, procurement, insurance, subcontractor management, or related disciplines.
• Experience within engineering, construction, environmental services, industrial services, or another project-based business preferred.
• Demonstrated experience managing contractual, commercial, subcontractor, procurement, or insurance-related risk.

Responsibilities

• Develop and improve enterprise-wide standards, controls, approval thresholds, delegated authorities, and exception processes for identifying, evaluating, managing, and monitoring material business risks.
• Partner with executive and operating leaders to ensure material risks are understood, evaluated at the appropriate level, and escalated when outside established standards or authority.
• Monitor risk and compliance trends, recurring exceptions, and emerging exposures and provide leadership with appropriate visibility into the Company's risk profile.
• Establish and maintain enterprise standards for subcontractor and third-party qualification, approval, monitoring, and compliance.
• Review client, subcontractor, vendor contracts for risk and escalation, and ensure appropriate risk review.
• Coordinate with operating leaders and other resources to support informed commercial decisions.
