Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking a Senior Manager, Project Controls to lead the enterprise project controls function across a large portfolio of design-build projects for municipal, industrial, and federal clients. This role will define governance, standards, and analytics while modernizing platforms and driving AI-enabled forecasting.

The candidate will oversee budgeting, scheduling, risk, and commercial controls, advancing performance metrics, dashboards, and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 15+ years of related experience.
• PMP or PgM certification required.

Responsibilities

• Define enterprise project controls strategy, standards, methodologies, and governance.
• Establish controls for design-build, CMAR, and other delivery models.
• Strengthen budgeting, scheduling, forecasting, and change management.
• Develop dashboards, risk indicators, and actionable insights for project health and profitability.
• Lead modernization of project controls platforms and automation initiatives.
• Establish scalable document control and data quality standards.
• Collaborate with executives and cross-functional teams to improve predictability and client outcomes.
