Job summary

Karman Space & Defense seeks a Director for Enterprise Platforms & Business Systems to lead ERP, engineering, manufacturing, quality, reporting, and related platforms within the CIO organization.

The role drives platform strategy, governance, delivery, and lifecycle management across Epicor/ERP, corporate applications, and integrations, with emphasis on standardization and risk management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, business, engineering, operations, or finance.
• 10+ years in enterprise applications, ERP, or business systems.
• 5+ years of people leadership in related teams.
• Experience stabilizing teams, setting priorities, and managing capacity.
• Experience with budgets, vendors, and executive stakeholder communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead the enterprise platforms and business systems function across ERP, engineering, manufacturing, quality, corporate applications, reporting, and related business technology platforms.
• Translate enterprise and functional priorities into clear objectives, capacity plans, commitments, operating measures, risks, tradeoffs, and investment needs.
• Partner with operations, engineering, finance, and site leadership to align platforms with business outcomes and customer commitments.
• Drive practical standardization across sites while balancing customer, regulatory, product, and integration requirements.
