Job summary

IGT is seeking a Director of Data Governance to build and lead an enterprise‑wide governance program. You will establish policies, standards, and an operating framework to ensure accurate, secure, well‑defined, and trusted data across the organization.

You will partner with IT, Legal, Compliance, and business leaders to shape governance strategy, drive data quality, and foster enterprise adoption of governance best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in a related field.
• Experience designing and implementing enterprise data governance frameworks.
• Strong knowledge of data quality, metadata management, and MDM.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and evolution of the enterprise data governance framework.
• Chair the Data Governance Council with cross‑functional partners.
• Build a high‑performing team of data stewards and analysts.
• Collaborate with data engineering and IT to optimize catalogs and lineage.
• Define and report on governance KPIs to executives.
• Ensure compliance with GDPR and data privacy regulations.
• Lead Master Data Management initiatives and golden records.
