Job summary

Accenture is seeking a Data Strategy & Governance Manager to design and operationalize enterprise data governance frameworks. You will translate data strategy into governance operating models and drive adoption across business and technology stakeholders.

You will stand up governance councils, define data classifications and access policies, and lead cross‑functional teams to ensure data quality, compliance, and trusted analytics for AI initiatives.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in data management, data governance, or data strategy in cloud environments.
• 5+ years designing and operationalizing governance frameworks and operating models.
• 3+ years hands‑on experience with data cataloging and lineage tooling.
• 5+ years of high‑value consulting experience or equivalent leadership of workstreams.
• 3+ years experience with regulatory and privacy compliance in enterprise data context.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent (12 years' work experience) or higher.

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise data governance design across ownership, stewardship, data quality, metadata, and policy enforcement.
• Translate strategy into operating models with business and tech stakeholders for trusted data in analytics and AI.
• Establish governance structures with councils, data classification, access policies, and clear decision rights.
• Drive governance tooling adoption (Cataloging, lineage, data quality tools) and ensure real usage.
• Ensure regulatory and privacy alignment for client industry governance frameworks.
• Manage governance workstreams and cross‑functional teams, maintaining trusted relationships with data owners and leadership.
