The position requires expert communication to business leaders and strong stakeholder engagement across utilities, regulators, and trade associations. A senior, strategic leader will guide policy across regional markets.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in energy policy, regulatory affairs or market strategy.
• Experience with ERCOT, WECC or CAISO markets preferred.
• Ability to translate regulatory matters into business strategy.

Responsibilities

• Establish regulatory and policy priorities aligned with Calibrant commercial objectives.
• Provide strategic guidance on legislative and regulatory developments affecting DER, storage, and large-load customers.
• Lead engagement with ISO/RTO market committees, utilities, and stakeholders in ERCOT, WECC, CAISO.
• Monitor market rule developments and translate regulatory actions into actionable guidance.
• Represent Calibrant in stakeholder meetings, industry committees, and conferences.
• Coordinate consultants and external advisors to support regulatory initiatives.
