Calibrant Energy seeks a Director of Regulatory and Policy to lead market engagement in MISO and SPP, shaping regulatory strategies and state policy. The role involves monitoring developments, working with ISO/RTO bodies, and guiding policy to advance Calibrant's growth and customer solutions.

The candidate will coordinate with Market Development, Project Delivery, and Commercial teams, interfacing with utilities, ISOs/RTOs, and regulators to drive project success and manage regulatory risk.

Qualifications

• Experience in energy policy and regulatory affairs with market strategy focus.
• Direct engagement in MISO and SPP markets is preferred.
• Experience with distributed energy resources and large-load customers is desirable.
• Ability to distill complex regulatory matters for executive audiences.

Responsabilités

• Set regulatory and policy priorities aligned with Calibrant objectives.
• Guide legislative and regulatory developments for DER, storage, and large-load customers.
• Lead ISO/RTO market committee engagement with utilities and stakeholders.
• Monitor market rule changes and regulatory actions and translate to business guidance.
• Represent Calibrant in stakeholder meetings and industry events.
• Develop regulatory filings, position papers, and comments as needed.
• Coordinate with consultants and internal teams to support initiatives.
• Communicate risks and opportunities to leadership.
