Job summary

Calibrant Energy in the Central United States seeks a Director of Regulatory and Policy to lead market engagement, regulatory strategy, and state policy across MISO and SPP. You will shape regulatory positions, monitor developments, and coordinate with ISO/RTO stakeholders to advance Calibrant’s objectives and customer solutions.

You will collaborate with Market Development, Project Delivery, Market Operations, and Commercial teams, manage consultants, and represent Calibrant in industry

Qualifications

5+ years in energy policy or regulatory affairs.
Experience with ISO/RTO market structures including MISO/SPP.
Experience with distributed energy resources and large-load customers.
Experience drafting regulatory filings.
Ability to communicate complex regulatory matters to executives.

Responsibilities

Establish regulatory priorities aligned with Calibrant commercial objectives.
Lead engagement with ISO/RTO market committees, utilities, and stakeholders in MISO and SPP.
Monitor market rule developments and regulatory actions to translate into guidance.
Represent Calibrant in stakeholder meetings, industry committees, and trade associations.
Coordinate consultants, lobbyists, and external advisors; partner with cross-functional teams.
