Job summary

LCRA seeks an experienced leader to shape the future of energy management by directing teams, systems, and technology for safe, reliable transmission operations. You will provide strategic direction across EMS, SubWAN, system modeling, cybersecurity, infrastructure, and regulatory compliance to strengthen reliability and manage risk for future growth.

You will lead initiatives that align with ERCOT, NERC CIP, and FERC standards while driving budgeting, capacity planning, and asset strategies.

Qualifications

• Twelve years of experience in electric utility transmission operations or related field.
• Five years of management responsibility or equivalent.
• Degree(s) in engineering or engineering technology may substitute for experience per guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Lead, develop, and inspire technical teams to deliver operational excellence.
• Ensure compliance with NERC CIP, ERCOT, FERC, and applicable standards.
• Lead the development of plans, risk management, budgeting, and asset management.
• Ensure safe, reliable system performance and effective emergency response.
