Job summary

Pets Best is seeking a Director of Employee Benefits Distribution to lead the expansion of our employee benefits distribution channel across brokers, consultants, employers, enrollment firms, and tech partners. Reporting to the SVP of Business Development, this role drives revenue growth, expands market presence, and builds scalable partner frameworks.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in employee benefits, voluntary benefits, or insurance distribution.
• 5+ years of leadership experience in sales, business development, or distribution teams.
• Proven success growing national broker/consultant/employer distribution channels.
• Experience negotiating and managing executive-level partnerships.
• Strong understanding of employee benefits ecosystems, technology platforms, payroll/billing, and broker distribution models.
• Experience in strategic planning, execution, financial acumen, and forecasting.
• Ability to operate in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the national employee benefits distribution strategy.
• Identify and secure new distribution partnerships with brokers and benefits platforms.
• Create growth plans, forecasts, and objectives aligned with company goals.
• Lead business development from prospecting to contract negotiation.
