Job summary

Southwest Healthcare Inland Valley Hospital in Wildomar, California seeks a Director of Emergency Services to lead the ED, oversee nursing staff and patient care delivery, and drive quality and policy initiatives. This on-site role reports to hospital leadership and requires 5–7 years of clinical emergency experience with 3+ years in nursing leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited College or University in related field.
• Master's degree from an accredited College or University in related field preferred.
• Five (5) to Seven (7) years of clinical experience in Emergency as a Registered Nurse
• Minimum 3 years acute care nursing leadership experience in Emergency

Responsibilities

• Participates in Emergency Department leadership and is responsible for 24-hour management of patient care.
• Oversees staffing, policies, and delivery of high-quality patient care in the ED.
• Collaborates with support services to maintain operational aspects of the department.
• Ensures compliance with safety, quality, and Joint Commission initiatives.
