The Director of Emergency Services at Mercy Fort Smith leads the region's largest Emergency Department, guiding strategy and operations to deliver exceptional patient care. You will oversee a growing, expanded ED and ICU, focus on outcomes, patient experience, and regulatory compliance, and partner with physicians, EMS, and trauma leadership.

Qualifications

• RN license in the applicable state
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing required
• 3-5 years leadership or administrative experience
• 3-5 years relevant clinical experience

The Director of Emergency Services provides strategic and operational leadership for a fast-paced Emergency Department, ensuring the delivery of exceptional patient-centered care while advancing organizational goals, regulatory compliance, trauma standards, and emergency medicine best practices.

Working closely with physicians, EMS partners, trauma leadership, and interdisciplinary teams, you'll lead a highly engaged team focused on improving outcomes, enhancing the patient experience, and supporting the growing healthcare needs of our community.

Required

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
• Current RN licensure in the applicable state of practice
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
• 3-5 years of leadership or administrative experience
• 3-5 years of relevant clinical experience

• Master's Degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or related field
