Job summary

The Director of eCommerce at Vets Hired leads the digital commerce strategy across multiple direct-to-consumer brands, driving revenue growth, conversion optimization, and an exceptional online customer journey.

This role oversees eCommerce operations, builds high-performing teams, partners with cross-functional groups, and uses data-driven decision-making, experimentation, and AI-driven improvements to strengthen performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, or related field.
• MBA is a plus.
• 12+ years of progressive eCommerce experience.
• 5+ years of leadership experience managing teams.
• Direct-to-consumer (DTC) and omnichannel experience.
• Proven success with eCommerce revenue, CRO, and digital growth.
• Experience with Shopify and modern eCommerce tech.
• Strong analytics, forecasting and commercial decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Lead overall eCommerce strategy and digital commercial performance.
• Drive revenue growth through CRO, merchandising, pricing, and promos.
• Establish and manage weekly trading reviews to improve performance.
• Build and scale A/B testing, personalization, and experimentation programs.
• Optimize end-to-end online customer journey and checkout experience.
• Oversee website merchandising, product presentation, and content strategy.
• Partner with Marketing, Creative, CX, and Acquisition teams to improve digital performance.
• Mentor and develop the eCommerce team with a data-driven culture.
• Manage eCommerce platforms, automation, and AI-driven improvements.
• Monitor KPIs, customer analytics, forecasting, and reporting for strategic decisions.
• Ensure data integrity and continuous improvement of site operations.
