Job summary

Shirley Ryan AbilityLab seeks a National Director of Market Development to lead market expansion for the East Coast region from Chicago. The role focuses on creating referral networks, educating clinicians and payers about Shirley Ryan AbilityLab services, and driving regional growth.

You will supervise a team and partner with Marketing and Clinical teams to maximize admissions and outcomes. The ideal candidate has a clinical background (RN/PT/OT license), 10+ years in related settings, and

Qualifications

• Current license as RN/PT/OT in the assigned state; BSN preferred for RN.
• 10+ years of experience in a related clinical setting with collateral knowledge of catastrophic, complex medical, opioid and pain related claims.
• Proven leader in developing productive strategic relationships and influencing at decision-making levels.
• Excellent presentation and written communication skills; able to persuade in group settings.
• Ability to translate client needs into Shirley Ryan AbilityLab solutions and drive revenue growth.

Responsibilities

• Create and lead market development initiatives for the East Coast Region.
• Identify key buyer/referrer decision-makers and build lasting relationships with physicians, hospitals, and payers.
• Develop short- and long-term sales plans to meet annual volume targets.
• Collaborate with Marketing, GPS, and Clinical teams to support admissions and growth.
• Monitor market dynamics and adapt strategies to maximize referrals and program adoption.
