Job summary

The Mass General Brigham Development Office, a 450+ fundraising team, seeks a skilled writer and program coordinator to steward donor communications and reporting.

You will plan, write, and design narratives across print, video, and digital formats, translating complex medical achievements into accessible stories that advance philanthropy and support hospital missions. Hybrid work and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a portfolio of complex narrative reports and donor knowledge in their portfolio, including reporting schedules and stewardship files.
• Plan, write, and design content for discrete reporting formats across print, video, and digital.
• Collaborate with gift officers to determine content, tone, and approach for each donor while meeting deadlines.
• Facilitate regular meetings with gift officers to discuss reports in progress and confirm reporting schedules.
• Interview physicians, researchers, and other healthcare professionals to gain insights for donors.
• Conduct independent research on scientific papers and donor-related initiatives.
• Contribute to evolution of reporting standards and templates for consistency.
• Enter and maintain report-related data in the CRM database and monitor deadlines and donor feedback.
• Ensure delivery and uploading of final reports to the CRM system.
