Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day performance and optimization of 3PL partners, including service levels, operational metrics, and cost performance.
• Own inbound and outbound transportation strategy, carrier management, mode selection, and freight cost optimization.
• Evaluate network capacity and scalability, identifying when and where additional distribution nodes are needed.
• Drive the launch and management of international fulfillment operations, including UK and EU distribution networks.
• Oversee the entire order-to-cash operational process, from order intake through delivery confirmation.
• Manage EDI and B2B order flows, including onboarding, mapping, troubleshooting, and process improvements.
• Serve as the primary operational contact for key customers and distribution partners.
• Partner with finance to reduce chargebacks, deductions, and compliance-related issues.
• Own inventory accuracy, visibility, allocation, and deployment across multiple locations.
• Develop inventory control programs including cycle counts, traceability, and audit readiness initiatives.
• Lead and develop a high-performing logistics and distribution team.
• Drive process automation, SOP development, dashboard creation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with systems and automation teams to optimize ERP, WMS, and operational workflows

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations, Business, or a related field preferred
• 8+ years of experience in distribution, logistics, fulfillment, or supply chain leadership roles
• Strong experience managing 3PL providers, including selection, onboarding, performance management, and site transitions
• Proven success scaling operations during periods of rapid business growth
• Hands-on experience with order-to-cash processes, EDI transactions, retail compliance, and customer service operations
• Experience managing inventory across multiple warehouses or distribution locations
• Working knowledge of ERP, WMS, and EDI platforms
• Prior leadership experience with direct reports and cross-functional teams
• Strong analytical, process improvement, and project management skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
• International logistics and fulfillment experience is highly desirable
• Experience within CPG, consumer products, nicotine, food & beverage, supplements, or other regulated industries is a plus
• Demonstrated ability to think strategically while remaining hands-on in execution
