Job summary

SitelogIQ, Inc. is seeking a Director of Engineering & Development for Distributed Generation in our Commercial Markets Division.

You will provide strategic leadership over project engineering, development priorities, budgeting, scheduling, and risk management, while delivering timely proposals that meet client and company goals. The role requires 10+ years in engineering or development, a US PE license, and strong DG systems knowledge.

Qualifications

• At least 10 years of progressive experience in engineering, project development, or a related field.
• Demonstrated experience leading, managing, and developing a team.
• Active Professional Engineer license in at least one US jurisdiction.
• Experience translating survey data into design documents and drawings.
• Strong understanding of DG systems and customer requirements.
• Excellent understanding of financial business principles.
• Proficient with MS Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams).

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership, direction, coaching, and mentorship to the team as they develop DG designs and proposals.
• Oversee the internal proposal queue, resource allocation, team assignments, risk review, and client commitments.
• Collaborate with Sales to define customer requirements, scope, and feature needs.
• Establish quality standards for designs, submittals, and permitting packages.
• Lead development of new processes, tools, and workflows and improve existing practices.
• Coordinate installation details with Project Managers and Account Executives; support field installation when needed.
• Lead quality control reviews of projects and ensure alignment with proposal goals.
