Job summary

Kohl’s is seeking a Director, Digital Software Engineering Leader to drive customer experience across the Kohl’s ecosystem. You will oversee engineering teams and advance architecture and engineering practices for Digital Marketing and eCommerce.

Based at the Corporate Office in Menomonee Falls, WI, you’ll work onsite one day per week with flexibility to work remotely the rest of the week, collaborating with enterprise teams to guide technology decisions and deliver high-impact solutions.

Qualifications

• Experience leading digital engineering in marketing and eCommerce.
• Data-driven leadership influencing tech decisions.
• Experience building scalable secure solutions.
• Ability to set platform direction with cross-functional teams.
• Coaching and developing engineering talent (local and remote).
• Familiarity with CI/CD, testing and cloud deployments.

Responsibilities

• Drive engineering practices across Digital Marketing and eCommerce.
• Shape enterprise architecture and technology roadmaps.
• Lead and mentor multiple engineering teams (on-site/remote).
• Ensure software quality, security, accessibility and performance.
• Collaborate with EA, SRE, Security and Platform teams on standards.
