Job summary

Kohl’s Corporate Office in Menomonee Falls, WI seeks a Director of Change Strategy. This role is onsite with an option for remote Fridays, partnering with Transformation leadership to drive large-scale change across the enterprise.

You will architect the enterprise change framework, coach senior leaders, and design strategies that align with a fast-paced, high-performance culture while coordinating with HR and Strategy to deliver impactful communications and activation plans.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Organizational Development, HR, Business, or related field.
• Prosci or similar Change Management certification.
• 10+ years of change leadership experience in large-scale enterprise transformations.
• Proven success leading enterprise change initiatives with measurable outcomes.
• Strong executive presence, facilitation, and consulting skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead internal change management across enterprise transformation initiatives (tech, digital, AI, business model changes).
• Design, launch, and govern enterprise change methodology and a Change Center of Excellence.
• Coach senior executives on change leadership and align leadership behaviors with high-performance culture.
• Develop change plans and engagement approaches for refreshed culture and behaviors.
• Create and execute change strategies including impact assessments, stakeholder engagement, and communications.
• Build a common change toolkit to drive adoption across the enterprise.
• Craft communications with Strategy and Internal Communications to inspire engagement.
• Foster executive sponsorship of behaviors essential for transformation and guide leaders in engaging teams.
• Develop learning solutions, tools, and templates to strengthen change management capabilities.
• Establish measurement systems for change adoption, readiness, and engagement.
• Collaborate with HRBPs and sponsors to cultivate sponsorship and leadership capability.
