Job summary

BW Design Group is seeking a Director of Digital Practice to lead the development and integration of BIM/VDC tools, AI-enabled workflows, and digital strategies across the AEC organization. This role drives vision, governance, and roadmap for digital transformation while collaborating with leadership to optimize design and construction delivery.

Responsibilities include managing BIM/VDC implementations, standards, and data‑driven practices; advancing constructability through digital tools; and

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a Digital Practice leadership and management role within a large organization.
• Minimum 15 years of experience in architecture, engineering, or design‑build practices.
• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
• Proven track record implementing BIM, GIS, VR/AR, and design/constructability software.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop a Digital Practice identity and roadmap aligned with firm objectives.
• Align Digital Practice goals with overall firm strategy and define measurable outcomes.
• Translate project workflows into a digital value stream and integrate with BIM/VDC tools.
• Oversee BIM/VDC standards, templates, and family libraries across projects.
