Job summary

Ally Financial is hiring a Director of Digital Platforms in Charlotte, NC. This role leads strategy and execution for shared digital platforms powering Ally’s mobile and online banking, partnering with technology, UX, analytics, risk, and business teams.

The Director oversees platform health, release governance, and reusable services, with accountability for stability, performance, and customer experience. You will lead a small team of product owners and drive cost planning and vendor management.

Qualifications

• 9+ years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Bachelor degree in business, marketing, information systems, or a related field preferred.
• Experience supporting large-scale mobile and web platforms serving millions of digital interactions.

Responsibilities

• Ensure an optimal online and/or customer experience for customers, while meeting business partner objectives.
• Gather, document, and provide business requirements, system requirements reviews, analytics requirements, and user acceptance testing for projects and releases that impact digital properties.
• Leads a small team of product owners responsible for improving existing processes and championing new processes to deliver industry-leading capabilities quickly and with high quality.
• Plan, budget, implement, and manage costs for the product space.
• Collaborate with UX, technology and LOB partners to drive roadmap execution and platform investments.
• Understand and measure product performance and the Voice of the Customer to improve customer experience.
