Job summary
Jobtailor seeks a senior leader to drive digital transformation across global engineering and product development. You will lead DtB workstreams, shape platform strategy, and align cross-functional teams in North America and beyond.
You will manage PLM/ CAD/ MBSE tools, foster AI-enabled initiatives in R&D, and build governance for data and tooling while guiding large-scale deployments in a matrixed organization.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in engineering, transformation, or product development.
- Senior-level leadership in product development or project engineering.
- Strong knowledge of Siemens PLM systems, CAD tools, and model-based engineering.
Responsibilities
- Lead Design-to-Build (DtB) workstream execution and deployment across North America.
- Partner with global Business Transformation teams to define, implement, and optimize business processes.
- Collaborate with Product Development, Product Management, IT, Manufacturing, and Business Transformation teams on digital capabilities and transformation initiatives.
- Define and execute the global strategy for product configuration, structuring, and platforming across the IAS organization.
- Establish and drive the vision, roadmap, and governance for digital engineering processes, tools, and data management.
- Lead selection, deployment, integration, and lifecycle management of PLM, CAD, simulation, MBSE, and related platforms.
- Drive integration between engineering and enterprise systems to improve data continuity, process automation, and operational efficiency.
- Develop and enforce standards, governance frameworks, and best practices for engineering tools, processes, and compliance.
- Drive adoption of AI-enabled solutions within R&D.
- Evaluate emerging technologies, AI advancements, and industry best practices.
