Job summary

Jobtailor seeks a seasoned Automation & Transformation Leader to drive end-to-end robotic process automation, AI-enabled programs, and global transformation initiatives. You will collaborate with executives, lead cross-functional teams, and govern enterprise-wide automation standards.

The role requires deep PLM expertise, AI/ML proficiency, and strong leadership to align initiatives with business goals and deliver measurable ROI across multiple programs.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of relevant professional experience.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in automation, AI implementation, or digital transformation initiatives.
• Minimum 5 years of leadership or management experience.
• Experience leading operations, strategic initiatives, global transformation programs, AI tools, and automations.
• Strong background in AI, machine learning, and automation technologies.
• Core PLM competency with SAP S4 HANA, PTC Windchill, Oracle Agile, or similar.
• Extensive PLM process, methods, and tools experience, including CAD integration, Part, BOM, Document, and Change Management.
• Advanced leadership skills, including coaching, teambuilding, conflict resolution, and management.
• Superior business acumen and technical knowledge across multiple business units, applications, and technologies.

Responsibilities

• Support and execute the organization’s automation and operations roadmap aligned with business priorities.
• Identify automation and process-improvement opportunities across operations.
• Collaborate with executives to align initiatives with business goals and operational excellence.
• Oversee deployment of automation tools, including RPA and selective AI solutions.
• Evaluate technologies with digital and transformation teams.
• Integrate automation tools with enterprise systems and operational processes.
• Track efficiency, quality, and ROI metrics from automation initiatives.
• Refine workflows using Lean and continuous-improvement approaches.
• Establish governance frameworks aligned with compliance and enterprise standards.
• Lead cross-functional operations, engineering, and data teams.
• Train and support adoption of new tools and process improvements.
• Manage direct reports through hiring, performance management, coaching, and career development.
• Communicate strategy, priorities, and roadmap updates to executives and stakeholders.
• Manage headcount, deliverables, schedules, costs, resources, timelines, and budgets across multiple programs.
