Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a senior R&D capability leader to drive a global R&D roadmap and value realization across business functions. You will re-engineer processes, partner with senior leadership, and guide standardization and harmonization efforts through the Transcend framework.

The role requires strong transformation, ERP, and change-management experience in regulated environments, with up to 15% travel and a track record of building high-performing teams.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree required.
• 10+ years leadership in R&D, Clinical Supply Chain or related fields.
• Experience in global BPM, ERP-enabled transformation in regulated environments.
• Ability to translate strategy into capability roadmaps and manage value realization.
• Executive stakeholder management and cross-functional leadership experience.
• Willingness to travel up to 15% as defined by business needs.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of an R&D capability roadmap across business functions.
• Define value opportunities and translate into measurable outcomes.
• Re-engineer and redesign processes as input to a global template solution.
• Partner with senior R&D leadership to define end-to-end process vision.
• Secure timely decisions on standardization and harmonization.
• Influence portfolio management decisions across functions for Transcend prep.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of R&D BPOs by subprocess.
• Build process ownership capability and embed compliance by design.
• Drive post-launch continuous improvement with backlog prioritization.
• Manage R&D business strategy, capability roadmap, and value realization.
• Lead global process redesign, governance, and decision forums.
• Engage senior stakeholders to drive cross-functional convergence.
• Coach team members and manage performance.
