Job summary

Travel + Leisure Co. is seeking a Director of Digital Engineering to lead the development of our Digital integration platforms, BFF architecture, and AI initiatives.

This hands-on role requires deep architectural expertise and the ability to build high-performing teams across onshore, nearshore, and offshore partners. You will drive strategic technical decisions, partner with CTO/CIO and executives, and deliver secure, scalable solutions aligned with the company''s digital transformation

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of development experience across integration, web and mobile tech.
• At least 3–5 years leading development teams.
• Expert-level proficiency in Java, Node.js, Python, .NET, or Rails.
• Strong experience with RESTful APIs, microservices and SOA.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical and strategic leadership in systems and product architecture, with a focus on integration, BFF, and AI engineering.
• Write production-grade code and lead by example in architectural design and implementation.
• Collaborate with internal and external developers to evolve digital platforms including legacy integration.
• Lead vendor management across onshore, nearshore, and offshore partners.
