Community Health Systems, Inc. is seeking a strategic and innovative Portfolio Leader (Technology Partner) to develop and manage a value-oriented catalog of technology services within the Digital Clinical Services portfolio.

This director-level role will align technology initiatives with business objectives, drive governance, and deliver measurable value through service management and lifecycle optimization.

Qualifications

• 8-10 years of experience in business systems consulting, cybersecurity consulting, or related field, including at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Experience leading consulting or advisory functions within large, matrixed organizations.
• Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks such as NIST, ISO, or comparable standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the portfolio service catalog, standards, processes, and procedures.
• Align portfolio initiatives with the organization's strategy and business objectives.
• Research and evaluate emerging technologies, incubating and piloting innovative services to meet portfolio needs.
• Promote practical innovation while ensuring cost-effective development and delivery of portfolio services.
• Define and lead strategic planning activities for managed portfolio with Digital Technology stakeholders and corresponding Business Partner, including portfolio financing and budget.
• Conduct in-depth customer research to understand needs, expectations, and emerging demands.
• Lead proactive outreach efforts to communicate portfolio services, initiatives, and planned investments.
• Foster a culture of knowledge sharing and education to keep stakeholders informed about industry trends and portfolio developments.
• Oversee resource allocation within the portfolio, ensuring alignment with priorities and value delivery.
• Implement and monitor financial management processes to optimize cost efficiency.
• Identify and mitigate risks while ensuring compliance with regulatory and organizational standards.
• Translate business requirements into actionable technical specifications in collaboration with technical teams.
• Address and resolve service delivery escalations, ensuring smooth operations and stakeholder satisfaction.
• Define and enforce quality standards for all portfolio services, emphasizing continuous improvement.
• Collect and analyze portfolio performance data, including SLA adherence, cost efficiency, and coverage.
• Develop performance dashboards and reporting systems to provide visibility into portfolio success metrics.
• Establish systems to gather and integrate customer feedback, enhancing the effectiveness of portfolio services.
