Job summary

Forterra seeks a Director of DevOps and Tooling to own the infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and developer tooling used by every engineering team. This is a hands-on leadership role; you’ll build and lead the team while contributing directly to the CI/CD pipelines, Terraform work, and compliance controls in a controlled defense environment.

You will ensure ITAR, NIST 800-171, and related requirements are met without slowing engineering velocity, drive platform cost efficiency, and mentor the next

Qualifications

• 10+ years in software/infrastructure/DevOps engineering.
• 3+ years leading engineering teams.
• Experience in regulated environments (ITAR, NIST 800-171).

Responsibilities

• Own platform architecture & roadmap for cloud and on-premise infra.
• Manage end-to-end DevOps tooling and CI/CD pipelines.
• Lead test infrastructure and automation efforts.
