Job summary

Ladders is seeking a Director of Development to lead long-range development strategy across the Americas, with emphasis on site origination, due diligence, and project readiness for large-scale infrastructure. The role collaborates with Finance, Investment, and construction teams to advance a complex pipeline and disciplined capital planning.

Location: Remote. Compensation ranges from $194,700 to $236,500 annually, with annual bonus eligibility and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree or certification preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in real estate site selection, acquisition, or large-scale infrastructure.
• Proven track record of advancing complex development projects within the Americas.
• Experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong understanding of development economics, capital planning, and regulatory processes.

The position will partner closely with Finance, Investment, construction, and other cross‑functional stakeholders to advance a complex pipeline and support disciplined capital planning. This is a high‑visibility opportunity for a development leader who can balance commercial, technical, and regulatory considerations while keeping projects moving toward execution.

Compensation: $194,700 – $236,500 annually
