Job summary

MUSC Health seeks a Director of Demand Planning to lead enterprise forecasting, planning, and distribution strategy from the Consolidated Service Center. This role owns the statistical demand signal that drives purchases, stocking locations, and distribution to MUSC hospitals, clinics, and ambulatory facilities.

The position requires strong leadership, analytical expertise, and experience with Tecsys or similar planning platforms, SQL and Power BI.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business administration, analytics or related field is required; Master’s preferred.
Minimum 7 years in supply chain with demand planning/ forecasting; 3+ years in leadership role.
Proficiency with advanced planning systems (Tecsys, SAP IBP, Kinaxis, Blue Yonder) and analytics tools (SQL, Power BI, Excel).
APICS/ASCM certification preferred.

Responsibilities

Develop and govern statistical forecasting models and inventory strategy.
Balance clinical service needs with supplier availability and market volatility.
Lead the demand planning team and guide substitutions during disruptions with evidence-based decisions.
Partner with Value Analysis and clinical leadership to optimize coverage and cost.
