About the role

As our Director of Demand Generation, you will own and lead the strategy and execution of our direct and indirect sales lead funnel. You’ll be obsessed with delivering high-quality leads to our sales team and ensuring those leads convert into pipeline and revenue. Reporting to the Sr. Director of Demand Generation, you’ll work cross-functionally with product marketing, content, sales, and growth teams to build and scale integrated campaigns that fuel predictable growth.

This is a high-impact leadership role where strategic thinking meets hands-on execution. You’ll bring a passion for demand gen performance and forecasting, a knack for campaign process optimization, and a relentless focus on pipeline contribution.

What You’ll Do

  • Own the Sales Lead Funnel: Lead and optimize our direct and indirect sales funnel, ensuring consistent lead volume, quality, and conversion to pipeline and revenue.

  • Lead Forecasting & Performance Reporting: Set monthly and quarterly lead and pipeline generation forecasts, track performance against targets, and report results with clarity and insight.

  • Campaign Strategy & Execution: Partner closely with product marketing and content marketing to build integrated, multi-channel campaigns that align to business goals and engage target audiences.

  • Campaign Process & Enablement: Establish and evolve a scalable campaign planning and execution process that enables predictability, agility, and repeatability across the marketing team.

  • Paid Acquisition Strategy: Own the strategy and budget for campaign promotion across paid channels, ensuring optimal reach, targeting, and ROI.

  • Lead Nurture & Engagement: Oversee the marketing nurture strategy—including email and in-app messaging—to ensure leads are effectively engaged and warmed until they’re ready to buy on their own or through our sales team.

  • Lead Scoring Strategy: Develop and maintain a lead scoring model in partnership with sales and marketing operations to prioritize high-intent leads and improve handoff efficiency.

  • Team Leadership: Build, mentor, and manage a high-performing demand generation team, fostering a culture of experimentation, accountability, and continuous learning.

  • Sales Partnership: Act as a key liaison to direct and indirect sales team, aligning on pipeline needs, feedback loops, and ongoing lead quality improvement.

What We’re Looking For

  • 7+ years of experience in B2B SaaS demand generation at organizations with product-lead sales GTM, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.

  • Proven track record of owning and growing a sales-focused demand generation function with measurable revenue impact.

  • Strong expertise in campaign development, marketing operations, and marketing automation tools (e.g. Salesforce, Marketo, Hubspot, Braze, etc.).

  • Deep understanding of B2B buying journeys and how to engage prospects across channels and lifecycle stages.

  • Analytical mindset with experience in forecasting, pipeline modeling, and performance reporting.

  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills—you thrive in cross-functional teams and can align stakeholders with ease.

  • Experience managing a team and agency/vendor relationships.

  • Familiarity with PLG motions and how they complement sales-led strategies.
