Job summary

Fidelity Investments in the United States seeks a Director within Defined Benefit Operations to lead strategy and delivery of pension plan administration. You will work closely with Relationship Management, Client Services, direct client contacts, analysts, and participant services to ensure high-quality services for internal teams and external clients.

The role requires 8–10 years of DB domain experience, strong leadership, and a track record of driving continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required; MBA desired.
• 8–10 years of benefits outsourcing plan administration experience.
• Management experience required.
• Leadership and problem-solving skills facilitating an environment of continuous improvement.
• Working experience of data analytics, visualization tools, PowerPoint, Microsoft Applications.
• Ability to navigate across the Fidelity organizations and at various levels within the organization.

Responsibilities

• Provide oversite of team to ensure we are meeting our customer service levels and other expectations.
• Participate in planning activities and represent DB in meetings with other business units.
• Ensure Fidelity's goals, values and philosophy are communicated within the team.
• Mentor and develop team members; monitor performance and take corrective action as needed.
• Support the strategic goals of Senior Management; promote efficiencies and cost reductions.
• Plan for future growth and day-to-day management to maintain quality service delivery.
• Lead capacity planning, budgeting, and succession planning; foster cross-functional collaboration.
