Job summary

Fidelity Investments in the United States is seeking a Pension Analyst to support Defined Benefit operations, client management, and project initiatives. You will lead complex issues to resolution and collaborate with domain professionals to propose improvements through corporate actions and change orders.

You will engage with multiple lines of business, guide client teams, and own operations, analytics and project leadership within Workplace Investing Defined Benefit Operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• 5-7+ years of defined benefit/pension plan administration experience.
• Experience in Project Management and/or Analytics with data analysis capability.
• Ability to run queries, analyze large data sets, and identify root causes.
• Leadership ability with coaching/mentoring others.
• Strong mathematical and analytical skills for complex calculations in DB plans.
• Proficiency with Excel, Access and data analytics tooling.
• Client management experience including requirement discovery and solution design.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, lead and drive operational services and efficiencies for clients and the organization.
• Provide leadership on ad hoc client or internal projects requiring critical thinking and self-direction.
• Advise on Plan documentation discrepancies and guidelines (data, provisional, etc.).
• Guide client teams to resolve escalated client or participant issues.
• Serve as day-to-day contact for clients and participants on issues and data questions.
• Lead and mentor on client plan processes and maintain direction documents.
• Own and analyze operational issues and propose solutions with regulatory changes.
• Play a role in implementation, corporate actions and special projects with defect testing.
